Phil Cooper – Artistic DirectorPhil Cooper has served as artistic director since October of 2002. He has participated in Community Theater for over 30 years. He has performed in a number of productions at RVC Studio Theater, Woodstock Opera House, Theater On The Bay, White Pines Dinner Theater, and Starlight Theater. He believes directing children is a constant challenge and always has its rewards. He hopes CTP will continue to grow and serve the Children of the Winnebago County and the greater Rockford area.
Jack Armstrong – Musical DirectorJack Armstrong is a voice and piano instructor. Jack's biggest joy with music is helping young people become involved in local music endeavors. He is married to Tracey, they are the parents of Simon, who they hope will become involved in CTP's productions in the future. Jack has musically directed ten CTP productions since 2006.
Jennifer Gerczak – ChoreographerJennifer Gerczak has been educating children in dance for the past seventeen years at her dance studio, the Edwards Dance Center. Through the years, several of her students have gone on to have successful careers by performing with Disney, the Magic Kingdom, Sesame Street Live, Barnum and Bailey Circus and other live show events. She feels privileged to have studied with many renowned teachers from Chicago, New York and Los Angeles. She’s received training from the Gus Giordano dance studio in Evanston, IL. Many of her students have won top honors and scholarships in dance competitions. She’s performed and choreographed for a countless number of musicals, dance teams and fashion shows. She is a former board member and choreographer for the Miss Rockford pageant and Rockford Lightning Dance Team. Jennifer is a talent scout and choreographer for the Nova Talent and Modeling agency. She has choreographed CTP/YTP shows since 2006.

Cheryl Benson – Administrative Assistant & Parent Liaison Cheryl Benson has been working with CTP in some capacity for the past few years. In addition to her responsibilities with CTP she is the Director of Hiland Hill Preschool at Bethesda Covenant Church. She has been teaching for over 15 years. Cheryl is a married mother of three. She enjoys working with children as well as spending time with her own children. She became involved with CTP shortly after her oldest child appeared in the first CTP production of “Wonder in Aliceland” in 2002.
Renee Webb – Volunteer Coordinator & Grant Writer Renee Webb has been involved with CTP/YTP since “101 Dalmatians” in 2007. Since that performance she has worked backstage as Cue Leader, Assistant Stage Manager, Summer Workshop Coordinator, Volunteer Coordinator and has now taken on the responsibility of writing the grants for CTP/YTP productions. Renee is the proud mother of two daughters, and truly enjoys her time and energy spent with the children, parents and staff of CTP/YTP.
